Basketball Recap: Plano West Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Plano West had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 victory over the Princeton Panthers on Tuesday. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Panthers are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plano West's win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Princeton, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Prosper the next time they take the court. Princeton will host Prosper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Plano West will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
