Basketball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 61-41 to the Borden Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 51-33 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Borden, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

While Salem had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
