Soccer Recap: Monday's Victory Is Walsh Jesuit's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

It's playoff time, and Walsh Jesuit had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Harding Raiders 9-0 on Monday. Freddie Marcell was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Walsh Jesuit has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those eight matches. As for Harding, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Walsh Jesuit will be playing at home against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
