Basketball Recap: Tapestry Thunderhawks vs. Eden Raiders
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tapestry can now relate to. They fell to the Eden Raiders 62-58. The Thunderhawks haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Eden to victory were Chris Krencik and Tyler Wakelam. Krencik shot 47% from the field on his way to 21 points, while Wakelam went 6-for-15 en route to 19 points and five rebounds. Wakelam has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kobe Genco, who posted eight points in addition to six assists and five boards.
Tapestry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Eden, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.
