Baseball Recap: Boling Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Boling ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hitchcock, sneaking past 4-3. For Boling, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win Hitchcock walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Reid Janak, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Randy Ruiz was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Boling's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-10. As for Hitchcock, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Boling will face off against rival East Bernard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hitchcock is set to take on their familiar foe Brazos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
