Volleyball Recap: River Bluff Falls Short Against Ranked Lucy Beckham

River Bluff faced Lucy Beckham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Gators fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

River Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 25-12. As for Lucy Beckham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

River Bluff didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Porter-Gaud on the 11th. As for Lucy Beckham, they will take on Wando at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
