Softball Recap: Wauseon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ottawa Hills on Monday, Wauseon came back down to earth. The Indians lost 14-2 to the Edgerton Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Aubrianna Everly made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella McGuire, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Wauseon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Edgerton, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Wauseon is taking a road trip to square off against Napoleon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edgerton, they will host Bryan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
