The Everglades Prep Academy Panther's's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They snuck past Palm Glades Prep Academy with a 20-14 win. The win was just what Everglades Prep Academy needed coming off of a 31-6 defeat in their prior match.
Everglades Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quintero Frierson led the charge by picking up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown. Frierson's longest reception was for an incredible 90 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Sierra, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes.
Everglades Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Palm Glades Prep Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Everglades Prep Academy is on the road again on November 4th and play against True North Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on November 4th.
