Football Recap: Martinsburg Falls to Camden in First Game of Season

Martinsburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 28-0 defeat at the hands of the Camden Panthers on Friday.

Camden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gregory Wyche Jr., who threw for 178 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes. Ibn Muhammad was in the mix too, providing the Panthers with two touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Martinsburg will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camden, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Kingsway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
