Lancaster has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Orchard Park has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Legends will welcome the Quakers at 11:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lancaster 3.5, Orchard Park 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Lancaster and Frontier, and Lancaster kept the tradition alive. The Legends narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Falcons 4-3.

Alyssa Brunner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lancaster saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Stachewicz, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Orchard Park gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Williamsville North by a score of 5-2. The Quakers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Orchard Park also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Reese Politowski gave up only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.
On the hitting side, Lainey Babich was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was McKenzie McCann, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Orchard Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive matches.
Lancaster is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Orchard Park, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
Both Lancaster and Orchard Park just can't seem to miss. The Legends have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Orchard Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
