Basketball Recap: Leonard Takes a Loss

Leonard's tournament run continued when they took on Lebanon Trail on Saturday. The Leonard Tigers were outmatched by the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers and fell 75-46. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Deniz Aral went supernova for Lebanon Trail, putting up 23 points. Another player making a difference was Zade Shawwa, who posted 15 points.

Leonard has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Lebanon Trail, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
