            The St. Charles East Fighting Saints will take on the Sycamore Spartans at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
St. Charles East is likely headed into the  contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Geneva on Tuesday. The Fighting Saints took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. St. Charles East's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Sycamore had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They were the clear victors by  an  8-1 margin over Morris. Sycamore might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three  goals or more this season.

 Sycamore's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for St. Charles East, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-3.
