It's playoff time, and Clay Center had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Winfield Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Tigers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 23 straight.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Clay Center was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7.

Raimee Lipker paced Clay Center's offense, picking up ten kills. Lipker got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 21 assists. Miley Mcgee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clay Center's win bumped their record up to 37-2. As for Winfield, they dropped their record down to 10-25 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Clay Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rose Hill on the 25th. Winfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
