Volleyball Recap: Maroa-Forsyth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Maroa-Forsyth lost against Pleasant Plains back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

While Maroa-Forsyth ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19.

Claira Timmons paced Maroa-Forsyth's offense, picking up seven kills. Timmons got some help from Jacy Ravenscraft and her 16 assists. Adelyn Simmons controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Maroa-Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Pleasant Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Maroa-Forsyth will host Williamsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasant Plains, they will head out on the road to challenge Illini Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
