As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Alexander is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-10 otherwise.
