Calvert entered their tilt with Lakota on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 17-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 back in April.

Charlie Palm was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Vincenzo Lyons was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Calvert was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakota only posted a batting average of .118.

Calvert's record now sits at 16-1. As for Lakota, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Calvert will face off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakota, they will head out to take on Ottawa Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
