Softball Recap: Oswego Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Oswego ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Central Square Redhawks 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bucs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Oswego's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Clara O'Connor, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Oswego's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Central Square, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oswego is set to take on their familiar foe Auburn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Square will square off against rival Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
