Basketball Game Preview: Horseheads Blue Raiders vs. Warwick Wildcats

The Horseheads Blue Raiders will face off against the Warwick Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Horseheads beats Warwick with 52 points on Saturday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Horseheads beat Susquehanna Valley two weeks ago by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 52-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Raiders.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Warwick had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They snuck past the Panthers with a 35-31 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Horseheads' victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 20-1.
