Newton won the last time they faced Lake and things went their way on Monday too. The Newton Tigers came out on top against the Lake Hornets by a score of 47-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Newton has also been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Lake, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.
