Soccer Game Preview: McHenry vs. Prairie Ridge

The McHenry Warriors will square off against the Prairie Ridge Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McHenry's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

McHenry fell victim to Jacobs and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that McHenry have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Prairie Ridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Central 2-1. That's two games straight that Prairie Ridge have won by just one goal.

Ava Gertz and Maria Falkowska scored both of Prairie Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

McHenry's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Prairie Ridge, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
