Soccer Game Preview: Cincinnatus Central vs. Fillmore + How To Watch

The Cincinnatus Central Lions will square off against the Fillmore Eagles at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cincinnatus Central comes in on three and Fillmore on 18.

Cincinnatus Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Richfield Springs Central a 2-0 shutout. Given Cincinnatus Central's advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Richfield Springs Central are ranked 142nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fillmore). They blew past Franklinville 10-0 on Saturday. Fillmore's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Fillmore's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Cincinnatus Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
