Baseball Recap: Bishop Brossart Takes a Loss

Bishop Brossart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Cross Indians. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Bishop Brossart saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keagen Gulley, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Will Wyrick also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Bishop Brossart's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Holy Cross, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-12.

While Bishop Brossart had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
