Softball Recap: Taconic Hills' Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Taconic Hills fell victim to Schalmont and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sabres by a score of 2-0. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

Kaylin Brazie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Taconic Hills fell to 6-1. As for Schalmont, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

While Taconic Hills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
