Basketball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Poplar Springs Atomics, falling 75-13.

Poplar Springs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Baron Hall out in front who went 6 for 7 on his way to 12 points. Elliot Wyatt was another key player, putting up six points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Emmanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Poplar Springs, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Emmanuel Christian has already played their next match, a 119-11 defeat against Pleasant Home on the 10th. As for Poplar Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-35 loss against Bethlehem on the 9th.
