Football Recap: Duchesne Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Duchesne can now relate to. They took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beaver Beavers on Saturday. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Duchesne took the loss, they still got scores from Brex Robinson and Kade Thacker.

Davin Orton had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 99 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 93 yards and one TD for Beaver.

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Beaver, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Beaver, they will square off against Kanab at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers' defense better be ready for this one: the Cowboys have averaged an impressive 42.8 points per game this season.
