Flag Football Recap: Gardendale's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Gardendale fell victim to Boaz and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 24-0 to the Pirates. The loss put an end to the Rockets' undefeated start to the season.

Boaz found their leader in sophomore Peyton Hall, who threw for 225 yards and two TDs, and also punched in a pair of touchdowns on the ground.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gardendale fell to 2-1. As for Boaz, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gardendale will challenge rival Ramsay at 5:00 p.m. on the 9th. Meanwhile, Boaz is set to square off against their familiar foe Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pirates 6.4, the Wildcats 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
