Softball Recap: Marissa/Coulterville Comes Up Short

Marissa/Coulterville and Okawville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Marissa/Coulterville had to settle for second. They lost 17-7 to the Rockets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Meteors have suffered since May 20, 2024.

Kennedy Trieb was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Reilly Reid, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
