Glass posted their closest win since May 2, 2025 on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys 3-2.

Glass' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glass will take on Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Hilltoppers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, they will challenge Chatham at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Ospreys will no doubt try to take advantage of.
