Payton Reed was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Alanna Reed, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Southern Huntingdon County has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Tussey Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
