Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alpharetta Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2015.

Despite the defeat, Northside saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lacie Watts had 11 assists and three blocks.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Northside will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Etowah at 11:00 a.m. As for Alpharetta, they will be taking part in a tournament against McIntosh at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
