Football Recap: Beulah Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Beulah's offense. They were dealt a 40-0 defeat at the hands of the Glenwood Gators on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Gators are ranked 104th).

Beulah is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Glenwood, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beulah will venture away from home to take on Loachapoka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Glenwood, they will head out to square off against Wadley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Gators 9.2, the Bulldogs 8.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
