Basketball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Hancock Eagles had to suffer through a 73-43 loss at the hands of the Richards Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hancock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Harris, who posted ten points and four steals. Harris has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Chaidez, who had ten points.

Hancock's record is now 2-14. As for Richards, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.

Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-27 loss against Kaneland on the 8th. As for Richards, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-40 defeat against Thornton Fractional South on the 10th.
