Southwest Legacy had lost six games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-18 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Jay Mustangs. Southwest Legacy got a massive performance out of Novalee Gloria, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Gloria has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emma Puente, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Southwest Legacy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jay only managed seven hits.
