Baseball Recap: Bishop Garrigan Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bishop Garrigan's offense. They fell just short of the Lake Mills Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Bishop Garrigan's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Lake Mills, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Bishop Garrigan and Lake Mills will both be playing Eagle Grove the next time they take the field. The Golden Bears will host the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
