Basketball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

Stanton lost against ED White back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stanton Blue Devils had to suffer through a 76-49 loss at the hands of the ED White Commanders. The Blue Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Leandrea Mccloud continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for ED White, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 17 boards. Mccloud has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 29 times she's played. Kyra Jackson was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Stanton's record is now 4-8. As for ED White, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Stanton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-45 loss against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 18th. As for ED White, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-31 victory against Riverside on the 19th.
