Old Plank Christian Academy had won two straight  games  and  Termayne Tukes did his part to make it three on Friday. The Defenders had just enough and edged out the Oak Hall Eagles  22-20 thanks in part to  Tukes, who rushed for 86 yards and one  TD on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 67 yards.
 One reason for the win was Old Plank Christian Academy's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Nicolas Barbosa and  Brady Wilkerson, who racked up  four sacks between them. Old Plank Christian Academy got some further help from  Hunter Willimon: he picked up  a  sack and made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Despite the loss, Oak Hall still got an impressive performance from   Darius Medley, who rushed for 107 yards on only eight carries.
Old Plank Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Oak Hall, their  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.
 Looking ahead, Old Plank Christian Academy will challenge Bishop Snyder at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Oak Hall, they will square off against St. Joseph Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Flashes have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three games.
