Recap: Creekside Seminoles vs. Dalton Catamounts

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Creekside Seminoles had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against Dalton as Creekside made off with a 49-24 win. Winning may never get old, but Creekside sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Creekside had a senior duo take command as Travis Terrell Jr rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries and Roderick McCrary rushed for 228 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. McCrary has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Vinson Berry, who punched in two rushing scores.

Creekside has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-1 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.8 points per game. As for Dalton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Creekside will head out on the road to face off against Warner Robins at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Dalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
