The Bountiful RedHawks will face off against the Olympus Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bountiful sitting on 14 straight victories and Olympus on four.
Bountiful is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Woods Cross: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bountiful blew Woods Cross out of the water with a 63-34 final score. The RedHawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Bountiful's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Milika Satuala, who went 9-for-13 on her way to 21 points and six steals, and Taylor Harvey, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. Harvey's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Orme, who posted nine points.
Bountiful was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woods Cross only racked up six assists.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Olympus walked away with it. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 53-52 win over the Knights.
Olympus had a senior duo take command as Joss Baker dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards and Tessa Cromar earned 15 points and three steals. Baker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 28 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Cammie Bontempo, who had seven points.
Bountiful pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.3 points. As for Olympus, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bountiful has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Olympus struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Bountiful was able to grind out a solid victory over Olympus in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 46-34. Does Bountiful have another victory up their sleeve, or will Olympus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
