Basketball Recap: Oconee County Falls to Loganville in First Game of Season

Oconee County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 74-66 to the Loganville Red Devils. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Oconee County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Bolding, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 21 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Davis Bright, who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Oconee County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-40 defeat against North Oconee on the 13th. As for Loganville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clarkston at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
