Baseball Recap: San Lorenzo Valley Takes a Loss

San Lorenzo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Harbor Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

San Lorenzo Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Egner, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

San Lorenzo Valley's record is now 2-16. As for Harbor, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-8.

Coming up, San Lorenzo Valley will challenge Watsonville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcatz have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.16 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Harbor, they will face off against Santa Clara at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
