Westlake extended their postseason success on Saturday against Crescenta Valley. They blew past the Falcons 3-0. The Warriors not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 3-0).

Westlake never let Crescenta Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18, 25-19.

Tyler Andresen paced Westlake's offense, picking up ten kills. Andresen got some help from Jack Currey and his 18 assists. Andresen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Westlake is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Crescenta Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 22-11 record.

Looking ahead, Westlake will square off against Santiago at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sharks will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. Crescenta Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
