Soccer Game Preview: Proctor vs. Arlington Memorial

Proctor is 8-2 against Arlington Memorial since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Phantoms will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Proctor has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Arlington Memorial will arrive with three straight victories.

On Saturday, Proctor didn't have quite enough to beat Poultney and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Proctor have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Arlington Memorial kept a clean sheet against Mill River on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Minutemen.

Arlington Memorial picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2-1. As for Proctor, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Proctor's way against Arlington Memorial in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Proctor made off with a 4-1 victory. Do the Phantoms have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
