Basketball Recap: Cony's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

After losing to Camden Hills the last time they met, Cony decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cony Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 70-68 victory over the Camden Hills Windjammers on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Cony has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Camden Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cony will head out to face off against Lawrence at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Cony knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lawrence likes a good challenge. As for Camden Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Medomak Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Medomak Valley will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Camden Hills surely won't give up without a fight.
