Volleyball Recap: Katie Brinkruff and Caitlyn Gutt Secure Win for Fishers

Fishers had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lawrence North on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fishers was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-14.

Leading Fishers to victory were Caitlyn Gutt and Katie Brinkruff. Gutt had three digs and two aces, while Brinkruff had ten digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Brinkruff a new career-high.

Fishers' victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Lawrence North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
