Basketball Recap: Warren Hills Regional Comes Up Short

If Warren Hills Regional was feeling good fresh off their 43-22 takedown of Ridge last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phillipsburg Stateliners on Monday. The Blue Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stateliners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Warren Hills Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Phillipsburg, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Warren Hills Regional will venture away from home to take on Voorhees at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Phillipsburg, they will be taking part in a tournament against Emmaus at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Emmaus will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Phillipsburg surely won't give up without a fight.
