St. Edmund entered their tilt with Kaplan on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Pirates 12-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 on Saturday.

Lannie Reed was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Marcus Gradney Jr, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

St. Edmund's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Kaplan, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Edmund will head out to challenge Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kaplan, they will face off against Loreauville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
