Soccer Game Preview: Midlothian Heritage vs. Crandall

The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the Crandall Pirates at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian Heritage will be strutting in after a victory while Crandall will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Midlothian Heritage faced off against Corsicana on Friday. Midlothian Heritage's defense stepped up to hand Corsicana a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Crandall managed to keep up with Kaufman until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Crandall came up short against Kaufman, falling 3-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Midlothian Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those eight contests. Crandall's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything went Midlothian Heritage's way against Crandall in their previous matchup back in February, as Midlothian Heritage made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Midlothian Heritage since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
