Baseball Recap: Dakota Ridge Comes Up Short

Dakota Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Galena Grizzlies, falling 11-4.

Mitchell Lee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Breckin Maynes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Dakota Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Galena, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Dakota Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-2 loss against Apollo on the 21st. As for Galena, they and Bear Creek will meet on Saturday for a tough Bear Battle.
