Football Recap: Villanova Prep Skates Past Vista Meridian with Ease

Villanova Prep's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They really took it to the Vista Meridian Meridian Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-12 victory. With the Wildcats ahead 35-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

The win got Villanova Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Vista Meridian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Villanova Prep will challenge Public Safety Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Phoenix have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Vista Meridian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Avalon at 3:00 p.m. on October 4.
