            Basketball Recap: Pike Red Devils vs. Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            On Tuesday, the Pike Red Devils took their  match  with ease, bagging  a  62-34 win over the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils. The  contest marked the Red Devils' most dominant  victory of the  season.

 Pike's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Tj Davis, who  posted ten  points and five  steals. Davis is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games he's  played.  Isaiah Hill was another key player,  putting up nine points in addition to eight  boards and five  blocks.
 Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Gavin Lowery, who  scored 14  points and five  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jalen Yates, who  earned seven points and three  blocks.
Pike has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record  this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.7 points. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Pike didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  48-41  win against Carmel on the 24th. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  79-46  defeat against Greenfield-Central on the 23rd.
